Short Review: The best way I can describe this movie is that if you are a Mario fan, you will enjoy this movie. The movie isn’t as straightforward and simple plot-wise as the 1st movie, but this one packs in as many references as it can. From all sorts of Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Maker, Star Fox, and Pikmin references (and even more), this movie gives Nintendo fans everything they could want (especially Star Fox, as Glen Powell made his character so much fun). I still think the first movie is ever-so-slightly better, but this is a movie I cannot wait to watch with my future kids, as I know they will love it.
